Kiss me, Kate (1953 film)
Fred and Lilly are a divorced pair of actors who are brought
together by Cole Porter who has written a musical version of The
Taming of the Shrew. Of course, the couple seem to act a great deal
like the characters they play. A fight on the opening night
threatens the production, as well as two thugs who have the mistaken
idea that Fred owes their boss money and insist on staying next to
him all night. (Musical, 109 min, colour)
Directed by: George Sidney Cast: Kathryn Grayson, Howard

Howard Keel
puts Kathryn Grayson over his knee and spanks her bottom in front of
a large audience in this stage play film. Six spanks are shown
close-up on screen and several more are shown from a distance then
the curtains come down. (Note the coy dress in the US poster and
sexy panties in the European ones.) |

Kiss me, Kate (in the news)
The release of a
spanking still for a KMK production would almost guarantee press
coverage, even from the BBC! Click

Not
surprisingly, people also exploit it in different ways. How about
this message to your girlfriend? See right.
