Jana Ondruskova gets her very frilly panties spanked by Libor
Stach in a production at Pilsen in 2021. (Plzeň,
also known in English by its German name Pilsen, is a
city in the Czech Republic, some
90 kilometres [56 miles] west of Prague in western Bohemia.) |

The successful 1981 film, Postřižiny, directed by Jiří Menzel
(1938-2020), based on the 1976 novel of the same name by the writer
Bohumil Hrabal, lead unusually to a play of the same name in 2004.
(Usually, plays lead to films.) Postřižiny (Cutting it Short) is now a
popular Czech stage musical. Like the film before it, the spanking scene
is very popular and gives both the film and play a certain notoriety. A
Czech play by origin, it has also been translated into Hungarian. It has not been easy to find any clips from stage productions, but this amateur clip is interesting. Called Cutting it Short at the Nymburk brewery (Postřižiny v nymburském pivovaru), it does show how closely productions of the play tend to follow the film. Click HERE to view. |
